Al khunfah is an immense flat plain Iying on the western edge of the Great Nafud Desert,Primarily steppe and sand desert, it covers an area of 20,450 square kilometers.Arabian Ous small mammals,reptiles,and avifauna such as Houbara Bustard, the lappet-Faced Vulture,Sandgrouse and Rock Doves.Arabian Oryx will be reintroduced into this reserve in the near future
